Established in 2025 through the Greater Tacoma Community Foundation, the Purpose Fund allows us to support local communities and organizations directly in order to foster lasting change. Thanks to this community's generosity, The Purpose Fund has helped nonprofits and small businesses in the South Sound thrive.

17 orgs received $250 microgrants
$750 Technology Grant to a small business
$1,350 to support small businesses for inventory, rent, and licensing
$500 emergency funds to a nonprofit
Multiple grants to small artists
Free status filings and reports for nonprofits
Dozens of free farm share bags given to community
100+ families served through a free community resource closet, food pantry, and toy bank
Supported Community Cultural events and a Community Harvest Breakfast in partnership with the Red Elm Cafe
