Most organizations are eligible to receive grant funding to support capital, operational, and/or program related costs to include start-ups, nonprofits, community based organizations, small businesses, local and state governments, and educational institutions.
Collectively, the CPIN team has over 50 years of combined experience working with government, non-profit, community based, and academic organizations to develop and win grants. We have worked with dozens of clients to secure over $75 million in funding from a variety of sources including federal, state, and foundation funders. We have worked across disciplines including housing, homelessness, water and sewer infrastructure, community health, courts of limited jurisdiction, parks and recreation, workforce development, health research, climate and environment, and the arts.
Our approach to Grant Writing is rooted in deep listening, mutual respect, and a commitment to culturally responsive practice. We believe that meaningful grant development support begins with authentic relationships, not one-size-fits-all solutions. From the first point of contact, we focus on understanding each organization’s mission, history, and community context. Many of our clients are BIPOC-led, by-and-for immigrant and refugee groups, or grassroots organizations with limited prior experience in grant administration. We meet organizations where they are and work alongside them to develop the infrastructure and confidence to lead their growth.
We offer the following options for our Grant Writing Services:

When you hire CPIN as your Grant Writer, you don’t just hire a writer— you hire a team that will target funding opportunities, help shape the scope, staffing, and timeline of potential grant projects, and effectively articulate the needs of your programs and community.
We offer a discounted rate for nonprofits and small businesses in monthly and hourly packages.
