Rachel Kunze

Rachel Kunze is a grant writer and vice chair of the south end neighborhood council.  Rachel enjoys creating projects to bring public art and greenspaces to her underserved neighborhood.  Recent projects include 72 and D mural garden, charlotte’s blueberry th park food forest, 55 street mural, and the fern hill library mural and fiber arts project.  Rachel has a background in theatrical arts, and is a member of IATSE Costume and Wardrobe Local 887. Rachel is pursuing a graduate degree in community planning at the university of washington, tacoma. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, knitting, gardening, baking, upcycling, doing diy on her 1940s cottage, and relaxing with her cats, dogs and chickens.
